Stieg Larsson’s Dragon Tattoo Trilogy On DVD
No Comments
A quick scan of this week's releases on DVD and Blu-ray turns up quite a few finds, including animated family favorite Megamind, comedy Due Date, and thriller Memento. What captures the attention most is the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy, based on the works of author Stieg Larsson. The boxed set contains four DVDs, one of which contains bonus features like interviews with Noomi Rapace, who plays the films'-and the novels'-heroine Lisbeth Salander, and with Michael Nyqvist, who plays the reporter who helps Lisbeth expose corrupt government agencies.
The Dragon Tattoo Trilogy DVD boxed set is comprised of Stieg Larsson novels "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," "The Girl Who Played With Fire," and "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest." Of course, what's a boxed set without the extras? Aside from interviews from the cast and crew, the bonus disc also features the personal history of Stieg Larsson and the making of the fight scene between Ronald Niedermann, who plays Mikael Spreitz) and Paolo Roberto in "The Girl Who Played With Fire." Total running time for the Millennium Trilogy is 9 hours and 4 minutes.
